Medal of Heroism
Awarded to cadets who have committed an act of heroism. Applicants must submit a description in writing, including witnesses. |
Superior Cadet
Awarded annually to the top cadet in each LET level. |
N-1-1 (Distinguished Cadet)
Awarded annually to one cadet who exhibits the degree of excellence in scholastics. |
N-1-2 (Academic Excellence)
Awarded annually to one cadet in each LET level for achieving the highest academic grades. |
N-1-3 (Academic Achievement)
Awarded annually to those cadets who maintain a grade of "A" in JROTC and a "B" in the remaining academic subjects. |
N-1-4 (Perfect Attendance)
Awarded to those cadets with no unexcused absences during each quarter/semester. |
N-1-5 (Student Government)
When a student government office has elected a cadet as a member. |
N-1-6 (LET Service Ribbon)
Awarded to cadets completing their first semester of training of each LET year. |
N-1-7 ("A" in Military Subjects)
Awarded top cadets who maintain a grade of "A" in JROTC the whole year. |
N-1-8 (Flag Detail)
Awarded to cadets who have participated in flag detail a total of five times over the school year, command one, and can demonstrate the ability to the CSM. |
N-1-9 (Community Service)
Awarded to cadets who have volunteered at least 5 hours for each semester for LET 1s and 10 hours for each semester for LET 2s, 3s and 4s. |
N-1-10 (School Service)
Awarded to cadets who participate in at least three school events: summer clean-ups, snow-cones sales, track team support, etc. |
N-2-1 (Varsity Athletics)
Awarded annually to cadets in varsity sports. |
N-2-2 (Physical Fitness)
Awarded annually to cadets who maintain excellent physical fitness. The ribbon will be presented to cadets receiving an 85-percentile rating or better in all 5 Cadet Challenge events. |
N-2-3 (JROTC Athletic Ribbon)
Awarded annually to cadets who maintain a necessary yet challenging physical fitness level. The ribbon will be presented to cadets receiving a 50-percentile rating or better in all 5 Cadet Challenge events. |
N-2-4 (J.V. Sports)
Awarded annually to cadets who participate in junior varsity sports. |
N-2-5 (Extra-Curricular Club Award)
Awarded annually to cadets who participate in at least one extracurricular club. (I.e. S.T.E.M., Beta, and Robotics.) |
N-3-1 (DAI/SAI Leadership Award)
Awarded annually to the one cadet in each LET level who displays the highest degree of leadership. |
N-3-2 (Personal Appearance)
Awarded annually to the cadet who consistently presents an outstanding appearance and fit uniform. Don't miss any uniforms day and maintain a 90 or better on inspection. |
N-3-3 (Proficiency Ribbon)
Awarded annually to those cadets who have demonstrated an exceptionally high degree of leadership, academic achievement, and duty performance. |
N-3-4 (Drill Team Ribbon)
Awarded annually to drill team members that have competed in three drill competitions. |
N-3-5 (Orienteering Ribbon)
Awarded annually to cadets who are members of the orienteering teams. |
N-3-6 (Color/Honor Guard Ribbon)
Awarded annually to members that have done three Color or Honor Guards. |
N-3-7 (Marksmanship Team Ribbon)
Awarded annually to rifle team members that have done three meets. |
N-3-8 (Academic Team Ribbon)
Awarded to cadets that participate in two academic team tests. |
N-3-9 (Commendation Ribbon)
Awarded to cadets whose performance of duty exceptionally exceeds that expected of their grade and experience cadets. Ex: Winning Leader of the Month or Cadet of the Month. |
N-3-10 (Good Conduct Ribbon)
Awarded annually to cadets who have demonstrated outstanding conduct throughout the school. |
N-3-11 (JCLC Participation Ribbon)
Awarded to cadets for J.C.L.C. participation. |
N-3-12 (Special Team Commander)
Awarded annually to cadets who have commanded a particular team the entire time that special team has been in season. The C.S.M. must approve it. |
N-3-13 (J.C.L.C. Award)
Awarded to cadets that attend J.C.L.C. and have won honour platoon or have been a black hat or Top Cadet. |
N-3-14 (Presented J.P.A. Award)
Awarded to cadets, chosen by staff, who participated in boards for J.P.A. |
N-3-15 (AI Leadership Ribbon)
Awarded annually to cadets who excel as leaders in their class period or the teams they're involved in. |
N-4-1 (Parade Ribbon)
Awarded to cadets who have participated in two local community parades; for example, Veterans' Day, Memorial Day, etc. |
N-4-2 (Recruiting Ribbon)
Awarded annually to cadets who recruit students into the JROTC program each quarter/semester or participate in the JROTC recruiting day. |
N-4-3 (Raider Team)
Awarded to cadets who participate in the raider team and have participated in two raider competitions. |
N-4-4 (Class Leader Award)
Awarded to cadets who have served as class leader and have worn their uniform every nine weeks that they've been the class leader. Examples of Class Leaders are Class Leader, XO, 1st Sgt, CO, and PL. |
N-4-5 (Special Teams)
Awarded annually to cadets who have participated in three or more special teams, your team commander must approve this through the CSM before receiving this award. |
N-4-6 (Service Learning)
Awarded annually to cadets who participated in service-learning projects and have written the assigned essay. |
N-4-7 (Excellent Staff Performance Ribbon)
Given to cadets who have been on staff for one semester. |
Ropes
Color Guard
Cadet must be on competition Color Guard or have done at least five Color Guards. |
Raider
Cadets must be in two competitions. |
Drill
Cadets must be in three competitions. |
Marksmanship/Rifle
Cadets must be in five meets. |
Honor Guard
Cadets must be in five Honor Guard. |
Academic Team
Cadet must be on a special academic team. Ex: Academic Team, Leadership Team, Beta Club, Mu Alpha Theta, Gifted and Talented, etc. |
Arcs
Color Guard
Cadet has participated in at least six colour guards. |
JCLC
Cadet has gone to JCLC at least once. |
Raider Team
Cadet has consistently shown up for raider practice and has competed in at least two competitions. |
Cadet Challenge
Cadet has made 85% on three or more events of cadet challenge. |
Drum and Bugle
Cadet has played drum or bugle for at least two parades. |
Exhibition
Cadet has competed on the Exhibition team at least twice. |
Drill
Cadet has competed in at least two or has competed at the State drill competition. |
Honor Guard
Cadet has participated in six honour guards. |
Rifle Team
Cadet has competed in either three postal matches or one shoulder-shoulder match. |
Flag Detail
Cadet has participated in flag detail at least fifteen times, and the C.S.M has verified the award. |
Staff
Cadet has been on staff. |
Academic Team
Cadet has competed in at least three Academic team tests. |
Community Service
Cadet must have 50 community service hours. |
